After lunch, drivers were invited to tour the BMW’s Mobile Tradition collection.

Education and Coaching drivers from Germany, UK and Asia – three other global championships – joined dinner in Hinwil. This gave the drivers the chance to overview the competition they’ll face in a few months at the World Final.

The factory tour involved areas where cars are built, prepared and tested. Heidfeld and Kubica recovered and made it to sixth and seventh places, respectively; but with Kimi Raikkonen retiring and Lewis Hamilton having a somewhat miserable afternoon, a top three finish was opened to competitors.

The hassle took place to the pair as Heidfeld tried to regain his fourth place from Kubica into the second corner, having been passed by the Pole into turn one.

On this regard, Theissen commented that a clash between team-mates obviously is not exactly what they wanted to witness. But he assured that the situation will now be analyzed.

Heidfeld accused Kubica of constricting him off the track; on the other hand, Kubica believed that Heidfeld was merely carrying too much speed to avoid hitting him.

The team boss continued that the team would rely on the data from the cars instead of his drivers’ arbitrary beliefs. According to him, if you ask the two drivers who are involved in such an incident, you get two entirely different points of view.

But Theissen firmly adheres that they need first to analyze the race data, and then sit down with the drivers and talk about the situation. He stood that the team’s goal is to avoid such kind of accidents in the future races.

Theissen admitted that Heidfeld would not have had finished the race if the red flag had not given the BMW team a chance to repair the damage incurred in the collision.

The boss also said that the collision with Robert resulted in a broken tie rod on Nick’s car, and he normally would not have been able to continue. But Theissen continued that the break was just long enough to replace the damaged car part.

It wasn’t until 1928 that BMW made their first car. It was called the Dixi 3/15 PS and it used a 743cc 4 cylinder engine which produced 15hp. The car was capable of hitting 50 mph which was good for the time. Over the next two years it was improved with the DA2 and in 1930 the car scored its first wins in motorsport around Europe. Over the next few years production continued and a total of 18,976 Dixis were produced.
The BMW M1
Many enthusiasts consider the BMW M1 the most iconic BMW that has ever been produced. This is because the car is considered the only mid engined car that BMW have ever put into production. It started life as a racing project as BMW wanted to enter Group 4 and Group 5 racing. It was quoted at the beginning of its life as the ‘Mid-Engined BMW M1 Project’.

The car had a 3. 5l straight 6 engine that was mid mounted, which produced up to 277hp and 243lb of torque. It was a fairly light car (weighed 2175lb) which enabled the M1 to sprint from 0-62mph in 5. 6 seconds and had a top speed of 162mph. Production of the BMW M1 started in 1976 with the first car being completed in 1978. After all the delays the M1 was not compliant with the Group 4 or 5 rules so they turned their attention to the Procar series.
When BMW finally managed to sell enough models of the M1 they were no longer competitive enough in the Group 5 category due to new technologically advanced cars such as the Porsche 935. Finally in 1981 the final BMW M1 was completed and it was the end of an era for Mid engine BMW M1′s. In total, 455 cars were built with 399 road cars being made and 56 race cars. In the current model range (the 1,3,5,6,7 and x3 and 5 series) there are no mid engine cars meaning that the M1 was truly the only Mid engine and rarest cars that BMW have ever produced.

Juliana Hatfield – Peace and Love

I loved me some Blake Babies and early solo Juliana Hatfield in the early 90s when she still have spunk and fire. She has slowly melted into her role as an elder statesmen of the early 90s alternative rock scene, content to release an album of pleasant and inoffensive acoustic rock albums with a few hints at her former angry self every few years. February 2010 she has another album coming out that by the title, sounds even wimpier than before. It will please longtime fans, surely, but won’t do anything to rejuvenate her career or sell many units beyond those she sells at the merch table.

Usher – Raymond v. Raymond

Usher should have learned to deal with his personal life less publicly than he did in the past few years. After a much publicized engagement to this new wife, estrangement from his mother and subsequent divorce from said wife right after her hospitilzation after a botched plastic surgery operation, Usher has a lot of pain to sing about, but fans don’t really want to hear songs about Usher filing his divorce paper (yes, he made a song about this and made it his first single!). There are surely to be a couple nice club bangers but word is that “Raymond v. Raymond” keeps getting pushed back because the label knows that it isn’t nearly as good or will sell as well as his previous albums.

Lifehouse – Smoke and Mirrors

I honestly didn’t even know these guys were still making music. The last I heard of them was a joke about their horrible album cover art on a G4 television show. Well, I guess they are still around and likely still churning out boring alt rock that will be perfect for that cheesy emotional scene on the next episode of Tool Academy. The funny thing is for these guys, I’m sure they can just sit around and make whatever kind of music they want since they are still rolling in cash from their previous multi-platinum album so why don’t they do something strange, weird and experimental? They really have nothing to lose.

Jamie Foxx – Body

I have high hopes for this album but coming so soon after the success of “Intuition” makes me wary of the quality of the world. A few singles have dropped that haven’t really caught on, one strange one featuring Gucci Mane and another dance anthem that is missing the anthem part featuring Lil’ Wayne. I know Jamie has another few hits in him like “Blame It” so here’s hoping that he spends a little more time on the record, crafting a sleek, sexy and fun album like “Intuition. ”

Getting psyched up to go to the gym is both mental and physical. Here are a few tips to help you get pumped and in the mood to hit the gym to get healthy, feel better and look better than a new set of BMW rims.

Energy supplement

Some people drink a Monster of some sort of other energy drink before they hit the gym but these are often loaded with sugars that can cause you to burn out fast plus they go against the whole point of working out. Other options are a vitamin c mix, like Emergen-C which can give you a little kick plus the benefits of vitamin c or another popular option is a drink like NO Xplode which is packed with Nitric Oxide which will rap up and widen the blood vessels so more blood can flow to the muscles and help you push yourself further and give you a kick of energy.

Mental readjustment

When psyching yourself up to go work out just remember the benefits of working out and how good you will feel when the workout is over. Sometimes the biggest step to getting fit is that mental preparedness. The reason that so many people who buy at-home gym setups fail is that people often need that extra incentive and push that actually leaving the house and hitting the gym gives them.

Workout partner

Having a workout buddy to talk with and help you work out can be the extra push some people need to get them off their butt and into the gym. Workout a weekly schedule with a friend of yours where you can meet at the gym and workout together. You will find that having a partner who will hold you accountable can be just what you need to get yourself in the gym and fit.
